To Schedule an Appointment

You may only see up to 5 files at a time. Once you view and return the files, you may ask for 5 more files.

To make sure our files are available for customers, we can only make one copy for the same file on the same day. For more than one copy of a file, you must pay in advance. The court will give you the date when the copies will be ready. You may pick up copies at the counter during normal business hours. Or the court can mail them to you for an extra charge.

For large case files, the court may use a registered copy service outside the court to make the copies. All copy services must be registered. You can find registered copy services online or in the phone book.

Off-Site Files

The court keeps some case files off-site. You must ask for off-site files in person at the Records Department in the Hall of Justice. You must also pre-pay a $10 fee per file.

The court keeps files between the ranges of the following case numbers off-site. The court might keep some other files off-site depending on the case. If your case number falls within the ranges below, those files may be available digitally (on a computer). You can see digital files at the records counter.

  • Civil: CIV/CLJ 448606 - CIV/CLJ 456869
  • Family Law: FAM 088281 - FAM 133295
  • Probate: PRO 112923 - PRO 127108

Off-site files will be available within 72 hours. Once the court receives files from our off-site location, we hold them for 5 working days. Then we return them to our off-site location.
